South Africa is regularly in the news because of crime. Recently, there have also been negative reports about Cape Town. Unfortunately we cannot say that these messages are not true at all, but journalists are often indiscriminate in their reporting and have an interest in sensation. We understand very well that all these messages scare people away. I remember all too well that when I went to South Africa for the first time, I thought it was pretty exciting.
